Definition
The Employee Card is Czechia's main combined residence-and-work permit for non-EU workers. It usually ties the holder to a specific job and employer and is used for standard long-term employment cases that do not fit a separate special regime like the EU Blue Card. In practice, it combines immigration and labour-market approval into one route, but the worker still needs to respect the conditions attached to the approved position.
