Determine whether your profession is regulated in Ireland

Check whether your target profession requires a statutory licence or registration before you can practise in Ireland. CORU's website lists the health and social care professions it regulates. Apply directly to the relevant professional regulatory body

EU framework notes

Ireland implements EU Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications through the European Communities (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2017 (S.I.
